Abstract

The determination of the proper policies to be followed in street railway operation brings up a large number of problems for consideration of the operating departments. The question of the relative merits of One-Man snd Two-Man car operation is a live issue in the street railway industry at this time. To consider and discuss this question is the purpose of this paper.
