Abstract

The experiments described in this paper have been conducted to determine the behavior of different types and varieties of cottonseed under field conditions and to measure the relative vigor of the seedlings produced by seed lots differing in percentage of germination and with varying seed treatments. The results presented here are from field and laboratory experiments conducted at Knoxville and Jackson, Tenn. from 1935 to 1938, inclusive.
