Abstract
Anything that has to do with the economical operation of a gas engine to-day is of great interest to thousands of people who use gasoline either for pleasure or for work.
In working up this thesis, most of my time was taken in fixing the engine for use. A six horse-power "MOGUL" engine was used during the tests. This engine was loaned to the University by the International Harvester Company, and care had to be taken not to damage or radically change too many parts of same.
