Abstract

This research applied the boundary element method to the two-dimensional exterior Stokes problem. Numerical experiments were carried out for the specific case where the domain is the exterior of a circle. Vector fields were sketched with these numerical results. Numerical test computations indicate that the boundary element method is useful for computational hydrodynamics.
