Technical Bulletins: Required Group Health Care Coverage for Former Employees and Dependents

This Technical Bulletin discusses Title X of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA), which requires cities with more than 20 employees, that offer health care plans, to extend continuing health care coverage to their employees or their dependents when certain "qualifying events" have occurred.
