Abstract

This thesis discusses techniques for generalizing the usage of the testing chain in the Cleanroom Certification process. Methods for using generalized testing chains to maintain process control, capitalize on previous testing results, incorporating results of nonrandom tests, and obtaining the discriminant calculation earlier in the testing process will be presented.
