Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) to evaluate three methods of obtaining yield estimates and to determine which of the three would be the best to use in subsequent investigations; (2) to compare soil productivity as measured by corn at different levels of management on the same or similar soils; (3) to compare soil productivity as measured by corn at the same level of management on different soil groups; and (4) to partially characterize the environmental conditions where yield estimates were obtained and relate these to yields.
