Some effects of electrical treatment of seed

Ever since Benjamin Franklin took it seriously when someone told him to go fly a kite, man has attempted to determine the relationship between electric energy and life. Various studies of the effects of electric fields on plants have been conducted with conflicting results reported. The experiments reported herein were designed to detect agronomic differences resulting from exposing certain seeds to fields of electric energy. Whereas many earlier results were based on observations and opinions, this work was designed so that the data could be analyzed statistically.
