Abstract

The purposes of this study were: (1) to survey the opinions of Negro families in Loudon County, Tennessee, toward placing mentally retarded children into special classes; and (2) to find the relationship between those opinions and the following variables: age, education, occupation. church affiliation, and school patronage.
