Abstract
There is always a wide variance in the economic operation of similar power plants. This is controlled largely by the knowledge one has, or can avail himself of, pertaining to his particular plant.
The purpose of this study, then is the determine the cost of production of power per K. W. Hour at the University of Tennessee Power plant. While the economic aspect will be considered primarily other observations will be recorded that they may be available for anyone desiring to investigate the operaitng conditions of this plant.
