Abstract
The following study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of certain chemicals at various rates of application in controlling weeds in cotton and to determine if the chemicals had injurious effects on the cotton.
Research in pre-emergence chemical weed control in cotton began as recently as 1946. Since that time a great deal of work has been done in the field, and many advances have been made which promise to reduce the amount of labor and expense involved in cotton production.
