A full screen display editor for the MUMPS system

Z-editor, a full screen display editor for the MUMPS system was developed for this thesis. This Z-editor was designed to run under the DEC-10 based MUMPS (Massachusetts General Hospital Utility Multi-Programming system). It is written in FORTRAN and modeled after the RT-11 Z-editor.

Z-editor contains the basic editing commands and some sophisticated commands. It allows the user to create, modify and execute an application program without ever having to exit the MUMPS system.
