Abstract
The pages that follow comprise a collection of stories this author has written or revised during his two-year term of study as a candidate for the Master's degree in English at the University of Tennessee. The stories attempt to give the reader a vision, a window into a fully realized, yet fictional universie and the people that inhabit it. These stories are accompanied by an introduction explaining the importance that author places upon his own childhood expierences, and the important role that autobiography has played in the development of his fiction.
