Abstract
The use of the circuit analysis program SPICE2 as an aid in the design of high temperature electronic circuits is examined. An example DC-DC converter circuit is simulated at 230°C temperature and the results compared with experimental data. Also included are experimentally measured model parameters for an extensive list of devices suitable for use at high (200°-300°C) temperatures. Several errors in the SPICE2 source program were found.
