Abstract
This thesis will use the craft of woodworking and furniture making to inform the making of architecture. Techniques of joinery, lamination, and veneering can be translated into the broader language of architecture and conceptually interpreted in a variety of ways, giving the designer the means of creating a tectonically clear and expressive building.
