Abstract

Sports betting and NFTs are some of the fastest-growing markets. This dissertation explores these two markets with a particular emphasis on consumer behavior in these markets. The first essay focuses on sports betting, examining how the number of predictions in a wager shapes wager choices. The second essay focuses on NFTs, examining how sellers should describe NFTs to mitigate potential concerns due to the digital nature of the context.
