This collection of poems wanders down dark paths normally reserved for science. Specifically, it seeks to discover nuances of human behavior informed by a theory of brain evolution articulated in Dr. Carl Sagan's The Dragons of Eden. It is down these paths with a different flashlight, however, that the author follows Dr. Sagan.
