Abstract
This thesis is a teacher resource manual for middle school teachers to implement drama into their reading curriculum. The dramatic forms of improvisation, storytelling, puppetry, pantomime, and reader's theatre are presented for incorporation into the curriculum. The ideas can be adapted to all ages and ability levels. Different components of the forms are examined and lesson plans, tips, scripts, and resources are offered for the teacher.
