Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop equipment for the application of lime and fertilizer on slopes too steep for the use of conventional commercial machines. This equipment would enable farmers to expand the acreage devoted to improve pastures, increase production of livestock, improve the agricultural economy of the area, and provide protection for the steeper slopes against excessive erosion losses.
