Abstract
This study was initiated through the belief that Tennessee farmers were not acting in the credit market to their best advantage. It is believed that farmers have too negative attitudes and inadequate knowledge about credit to make optimum use of it as a productive tool.
In the investigation of this belief, five hypotheses were set up to be tested.
