Abstract
The following study was designed first to determine the effects of additions of phosphate and potash on the yield of two important crops. Second to compare the results of soil tests on samples from these plots with the observed yield increases. In this way the degree of correlation between nutrient levels as measured by soil tests and response to fertilizer could be determined.
