A Study to Determine the Feasibility of Establishing Standards for an Intercollegiate Athletic Program for Women in Tennessee

Statement of the Problem: Many institutions of higher learning throughout the country provide for the highly skilled woman athlete through an intercollegiate athletic program. None of the colleges and universities in the state of Tennessee make this provision. This investigation dealt with the feasibility of establishing an intercollegiate athletic program for women in Tennessee.
