Abstract
The vast strides of the electrical industry, in whom, development, has brought us into the age when the use of electrical appliances has become more nearly a necessity than a convenience, hence the thought today is turned toward an expansion of the field to include the rural section.
It is the aim of this paper to analyze the cost of extending service into this new territory and to develop a plan of financing the investments so that the service may be had on a sound economic basis.
This plan of financing is the result of a study of rural line operating cost as tabulated on the following paper.
