Vision tasting

The poems in this collection attempt to describe journeys of the self as it moves through time, repositioning itself in relation to others or in relation to its own means of expression. The first section portrays the merging of identities, for example the shared lives of lovers. The second section includes writing about writing, showing the movement of mind into memory and its return to the present, bringing lyrics and narratives needed to assess that journey. The last section focuses on specific moments of altered vision, ones which mark changes in the life of the narrator and perhaps, when re-created, in the mind of the reader.
