The object of this research was to dermine the reliability of boiling-point and molecular weight determinations with a new type of apparatus which was designed by Dr. J. H. Robertson of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Tennessee and presented by title to the American Chemical Society at its fall meeting in Pittsburgh in 1926.
