Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the kinds of musical experiences provided for a selected group of preschool children in their homes. Information was sought in regard to: 1. The musical activities taking place in the homes of these children. 2. The types and usage of musical equipment found in these homes. 3. The children's reactions to musical experiences. 4. The part other members of the family played in the musical life of these children.
