Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, if possible, the reasons for excessive erosion below a cantilever outlet. Very little research has been done to date on this problem, and it was decided that a field study should be made in an attempt to discover the reason trouble has occurred with certain outlets while the majority have been satisfactory.
