Abstract

For the purpose of this study conservation may be defined as maintaining soil productivity over time.


The specific objectives of this study are:

1. To determine costs and returns of cropping systems at different levels of conservation.

2. To determine the additional resources necessary to develop conservation systems of farming.

3. To determine the effects of conservation systems upon different combinations of enterprises to see which are most profitable.
