Abstract

The LabVIEW software language is a general purpose simulation tool using a new user friendly interface. Replacing lines of cryptic code with intuitive graphic objects, LabVIEW has simplified scientific programming to a great extent. The present work is an attempt to use this data flow concept in the simulation of communication systems. Programs for simulation of various analog and digital communication systems have been developed. Comparison of the simulated and theoretical results led to the conclusion that LabVIEW can be a very effective and interesting tool for communication systems simulation.
