SIR: I have the honor of transmitting herewith, on behalf of the Board of Trustees of The University of Tennessee, a report of the work and expenditures of the Agricultural Experiment Station for the year 1989.

This report is submitted in accordance with the law requiring that such a report be submitted annually by the administrators of the Experiment Station to the Governor of the State.
