Abstract

This thesis is intended to be of special interest to anyone interested in the design and construction of small transformers for radio transmitting stations. The author is indebted to Dp. Charles A. Perkins for ideas and suggestions which were of considerable help in designing the transformer and to the Knoxville Power and Light Company for furnishing the core for the transformer. The transformer was designed to meet the requirements of the secondary load with the highest efficiency possible under these conditions. The transformer will be used in a radio transmitting station by the author.
