Abstract

The application of microcomputer in modern control system is a common tool in today's technology. But one using a microcomputer to control the orderly transaction of business in an assembly is not. A microcomputer-controlled assembly voting system is introduced for this purpose.

The main task of a voting system is to enhance legislative and policy making bodies in making decision on certain vital issues. The decision making process could be time consuming and complicated if there is a limitation on the capability of the type of system used.

The AIM-65 microcomputer is used in this particular application. It is specifically programmed to process the gathered information which shows the progress and the results of a certain discussed issue. The author describes the microcomputer-controlled system in detail and developes procedures to test and operate the system.
