Abstract

The purposes of this study in a sample of select bull calves were:

1. To determine the effect of age of dam on pre weaning, weaning, and post weaning traits.

2. To definitely determine if calf age is a source of significance or pre weaning, weaning, and post weaning traits.

3. To establish the association among all traits.

4. To determine if the present adjustment for age of dam on average daily gain at pre weaning and weaning is appropriate for selected bull calves.
