Abstract

How to get more heat out of coal than the chimney does is the most important branch of household economy. The value and satisfaction a householder gets from the fuel he burns depends largely upon the character of the heating apparatus used. This work is the actual design of a new type of heating apparatus with the express purpose of being advantageous to other methods of heating dwellings.

The theory of Heating and Ventilation was taken largely from "Heating and Ventilating Buildings" by R. C. Carpenter.
