The Student Art in the Library program began in 2005 and ended in 2015. The juried exhibition was open to all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. All 2-dimensional works were considered. The exhibitions were on view in the Reference room on the first floor of Hodges Library.

The artwork is selected by the Art in the Library Committee.

Hodges Library serves as a center for learning and cultural enrichment for the University of Tennessee community. The former exhibition area in the Reference Room created an area of visual interest, encouraged artistic appreciation and provided a venue for our students to display their artwork.
