Abstract

This paper involved a study of several older persons reputed to be highly successful learners in their naturalistic settings and to determine through a qualitative research technique if there are some characteristics common among them. Determining such characteristics should enable adult educators, higher educators, human service practitioners, government workers, and older adults, themselves, to better plan educational programs, resources, and approaches.
