Abstract
This work is an adapted book chapter on why a professional should have a philosophy, be familiar with various philosophical frameworks, and understand the potential of such frameworks for adult education practice and for use as guides for personal decisions. Readers will be shown how and encouraged to construct a personal philosophy statement.
