Abstract
Professor Roger Hiemstra presented at the conference entitled "The Enduring Spirit: Woman as They Age," held on April 1-3, 1993, at University of Nebraska at Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska. The purpose of the presentation was to provide some background information on older adults as learners, briefly describe some research on older women as learners, and summarize some instructional implications. In addition, some policy and implementation strategies were included with the intent of stimulating some subsequent thought, dialogue, and scholarship.
