While offering courses in the traditional areas of philosophy (logic, history of philosophy, epistemology, etc.), our department has main strengths in value theory, broadly construed. In addition to hosting visiting speakers in various areas, the department also regularly engages in informal presentation and discussion of work by faculty and graduate students, with undergraduates also regularly attending.
