Department Chair: Donald Hodges, Head

The University of Tennessee Department of Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries (FWF) houses Tennessee’s flagship natural resource program. FWF addresses the environmental needs of the state, region and beyond with a mission to advance the science and sustainable management of natural resources and to promote their health, utilization and appreciation through programs in teaching, research, and Extension. FWF faculty and researchers are tackling diverse issues, from evaluating zoonotic disease crossovers, restoring endangered species populations, creating cost assessments for biomass, and more.
